Our hotel in Rabat capital is very central, just behind the parliament and Gare de Rabat ville, short walking distance to the sight seeings. After so many medinas (ancient old towns) it is not a must see for us any more. Kasbah (= fortification) Oudaia is situated on top of the hill, well preserved and beautiful to walk through.

Picturesque walk through the Kasbah

You can look down to the Bou Regreg river with its discharging into the Atlantic ocean. At bottom of the hill there are many surf schools. The beach is quite full with litter. We could see rats enjoying the food welcomingly left behind.
