Arriving in Socaire, a small village 3.300 m above sea level, we decide to return to San Pedro as it became to get darker and cooler. Also a slight feeling of tiredness and headache overcome us, probably as signs of mild altitude sickness.
Returning another day we turn into the side road east of the main road to Peine which takes us to Talabre, 3600 m N.N. The Settlement has about 50 inhabitants and a walking trail for visitors. Here again we become tired.
